New Era, New Dreams: Deep Integration of Clinical, Technological, and Industrial Aspects in the Field of Tumor Minimally Invasive Ablation, the Rapid Rise of China's High-end Medical Equipment Industry Draws Global Attention.

On December 9th, the 3rd China Conference on Microwave Ablation (CCMA2017) and WCIO2017 Annual Ablation Conference, organized by the Society of Interventional Oncology (SIO), the Tumor Minimally Invasive Treatment Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and co-organized by Nanjing ECO Medical Technology Co., Ltd., were held in Nanjing. A number of top international ablation experts delivered speeches, and more than 500 doctors from over 30 countries attended. This was the first systematic and large-scale presentation of the most advanced international tumor ablation technologies and concepts in China, where prominent figures shared their latest ablation achievements globally.

In the future, when writing the development history of the tumor ablation industry, this event will undoubtedly be a significant milestone. From this point forward, academic organizations, hospitals, experts, manufacturers, and research institutions related to the international tumor ablation field will move towards integration, showcasing a grand vision for a new era of tumor minimally invasive ablation.
Openness Ignites Innovation
The conference partnered with the World Conference on Interventional Oncology (WCIO) to jointly hold the WCIO2017 Annual Ablation Conference, bringing new ablation concepts.

The forum comprehensively showcased the latest achievements in tumor ablation and the highest level of expertise from various countries. Academic research covered tumor ablation in multiple organs such as liver and lung under different imaging guidance, encompassing various ablation technologies including microwave, radiofrequency, and cryoablation. Subjects like the use of 3D and multi-technology integration were also deeply covered.
Adapting to National Strategy
Mr. Sun Liangjun, the conference secretary-general, introduced that the platform has been officially positioned as a top international academic exchange and multi-party cooperation platform for tumor ablation. During the conference, Nanjing ECO Medical Technology Co., Ltd., a leading company in the tumor microwave ablation industry, signed an agreement with the Society of Interventional Oncology (SIO) to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership. This partnership will promote the development of clinical and training bases and member development in the field of tumor microwave ablation.

Under the guidance of the Belt and Road, CCMA pioneered an implementable "China Program" in the field of tumor ablation, turning ideas into reality in hospitals along the Belt and Road countries. This initiative promotes the export of tumor treatment technologies, represented by "tumor microwave ablation," benefiting more patients. Director Chinburen Jigjidsuren of the Mongolian National Cancer Hospital expressed gratitude for the CCMA platform that facilitated establishing strategic partnerships with Chinese hospitals. He is confident that with the help of Chinese doctors, Mongolian doctors' skills will improve, allowing the Mongolian people to benefit from the advancements in precision medicine and minimally invasive treatments worldwide.
Cultivating an International Cooperation Platform
The conference advocated for the establishment of a minimally invasive tumor medical alliance. Through the cooperation of related academic groups, hospitals, experts, manufacturers, and research institutions in the field of tumor minimally invasive ablation, the goal is to jointly promote innovation, collaboration, and standardization in minimally invasive medical treatments, and to quickly disseminate new technologies to grassroots levels, eliminating regional development disparities.
Interpreting the Future Direction of Ablation
The real-time navigated 3D precise microwave tumor ablation technology, developed by ECO Houston R&D Center, received significant attention. This technology leverages medical imaging to accurately, quickly, and automatically calculate tumor morphology and perform 3D reconstruction. It enables preoperative evaluation, surgical simulation, surgical plan design, real-time dynamic presentation of the ablation range, postoperative comparative evaluation, and the ability to immediately review CT data and compare it with simulation data for efficacy evaluation, thereby effectively improving diagnostic accuracy and treatment success rates.
"Precision and real-time" are the future directions of tumor ablation. Professor Chen Ji stated in his speech that tumor microwave ablation technology is one of the few leading treatment technologies in international medical treatments. Active innovation is essential to ensure sustained leadership.
Breakthroughs and Global "Smart Manufacturing"

For the first time, the platform opened to tumor ablation-related manufacturers, where domestic and international exhibitors showcased their latest equipment and technologies, promoting industrial integration. It is reported that ECO’s products have spearheaded the domestic high-end treatment equipment export to developed countries in Europe and America, entering over 30 countries including Germany, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, and Spain.
The world looks at China for microwave technology, and Chinese microwave technology is in Nanjing. Over the 3 sessions of CCMA, the influence of Chinese microwave ablation technology on the international stage has been significantly enhanced. It is not only an industry card but also a name card for Nanjing.
